Hi Y’all!
So, here we are… half way through the summer! I can’t believe it, I feel like we just had Christmas Holidays. Anyway, with this warm weather also comes Wedding Season!
Now that I have graduated University it seems like everyone is getting engaged and setting wedding dates. This month alone I have a few weddings to attend and I can’t wait!
I don’t know what it is about weddings that gets me super giddy. Maybe the pretty dresses, flowers and champagne, or maybe just because I am a hopeless romantic and there is something about being a part of someone’s special day that just gets to me.
Regardless, I am sure most of you have a wedding on the agenda for the summer so here are my top 4 tips:
- Stay away from white. Yes, I know this can be cliche, especially with modern brides opting for light pink and less traditional bridal gowns but honestly, just don’t do it. It is the brides special day and she deserves to be 100% in the spotlight. This brings me to my next point…
- Please don’t upstage the bride. This is her day to shine. I know, weddings are a great excuse for a new fancy dress, but don’t go overboard.
- Don’t dress to casually but also be mindful of comfort. Ladies, I know how it is with heels, find a pair that let you dance the night away – pain free.
- BE PRESENT & have fun!! Weddings are special days, enjoy every minute of it!
