Hi friends!
A few few weeks ago I spent my Friday night DIY-ing with a glass of red and Greys Anatomy playing in the background – below is the result!
On my way home from work I stopped at Michaels and picked up this wreath, some burlap, and these stems of flowers. You will also need a hot glue gun, wire, wire cutters or pilers and scissors.
I cut the flowers stems shorter and started placing them on the wreath and securing them with wire and hot glue where needed. The flowers I purchased at Michaels also had a wire through the stems, making it easier to shape them to the wreath. I would recommend looking for something similar when shopping for flowers, it will make your life a lot easier. Once I secured all of the flowers I wrapped the bases of the stems with burlap to cover them and to create a place to hot glue the burlap bow I made.
Below is the finished product hanging inside my front door. You could also hang the wreath on the outside to serve as a warm fall welcome for your guests – I was worried about all the rain ruining mine.
xx Becca
I would like a wreath Becca. XOXO
Quite lovely! I love the combination of the wreath, burlap and flowers.
